About Me

I was born on 11th June 1973, in a little village called Tacolneston, in Norfolk, England. I lived in Norfolk for 31 years, and now live in California, USA.

This is me and my husband, Dave. We met in June 2000 when I went to America for some training for my new job. As he lived in California and I lived in England, we didn't get to see each other very frequently. However, on 9th June 2003 we got enagaged (at Niagara Falls), and on 2nd October 2004 we were married and I moved to California. On 15th July 2005 our daughter Elizabeth was born and I became a stay-at-home-mom. Our son Edward was born on 15th February 2008.

I have one brother, Andrew (3 years younger than me) and one sister, Jill (6 years younger than me). Andrew married Jess in November 2004, and they have a son, William born in March 2006, and a daughter, Eleanor born in April 2008. Jill married Pete Smith in September 2000, and they have 3 children - Sam, Melissa and Tyler.

My main interests are photography, writing, and space and astronomy. I love taking pictures, and have just launched my own photography website where people can view my work and buy prints and products. I also have two photoblogs that I update daily.

I also love writing, and have been writing short stories for many years. In 2008 I also completed a novel during NaNoWriMo. For more details on this, click on 'Stories' below.
